It is not what you look at that matters, but rather what you see.

Thoreau

Welcome to the Watercolour Corner of My Website
For years I tried to keep my watercolour work separate — as if it didn’t quite belong alongside the “real” work. But eventually I realized: this is real work. It’s meaningful, it’s time-consuming, and it deserves to share the spotlight. So here we are.
If you came for the design and landed here by accident… enjoy the detour. And if it’s not your thing? Too bad — it’s staying.

Watercolour Humming Bird

What started as a six-month personal challenge to learn watercolour painting quickly turned into something much bigger. I set out with the intention to simply explore the medium—but along the way, I fell in love with it. That initial commitment evolved into years of daily painting, the opening of my own gallery, and even the discovery of how to make my own pigments and paints from scratch.

Since then, I’ve taught over 200 in-person classes, helping others unlock the joy and unpredictability of watercolour. Today, my teaching continues online, where I offer accessible, video-based courses—and soon, personalized one-on-one sessions. Whether you’re here to learn, be inspired, or simply enjoy the artwork, welcome.

The YouTube

You know what they say—the plumber never fixes his own kitchen. That pretty much sums up my YouTube channel. It’s growing… slowly. Why? Because I’m usually knee-deep in creating videos, illustrations, and animations for clients, which doesn’t leave much time to polish up my own corner of the internet.

That said, I’m always working on new watercolor classes in the background, and every video I post comes with something extra: free reference photos, drawing templates, and material lists to help you paint along. So if you’re into learning, painting, or just curious to see what I’m up to—stick around. There’s more coming.

Below you will find a small sample of some of my artwork from over the years.  Reach out if you are interested in purchasing artwork, having a lesson or just chatting about Watercolour
